About this Qualification
This is a Nationally Recognised Qualification, important for all trainers/assessors in Australia and essential for any professional in the VET sector. After completing the course, candidates can work as trainers/assessors in their chosen industry and area(s) of expertise.
This qualification is also suitable preparation for those people who deliver training and assess the competence of workers within their workplace, as a component of a structured vocational education program.

Qualification Pathways
There are no prerequisite requirements. However, learners must hold vocational skills at a level that support training and education in the subject area in which the candidate intends to teach.
After achieving the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, candidates may undertake TAE5010 Diploma of Training and Assessment.

To complete the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, candidates must undertake 10 units of competency classified in four clusters/groups as follows:
